Smiles Collection Dolls

After painting for over 15 years using different techniques from water color, pastel, acrylic, and airbrush to experimenting photo and digital compositions, he decided go back to the basic and everlasting oil on canvas.

EdgarSan was born in Bogotá, Colombia on march 6, 1963. Residing in Miami, FL since 1999. This Colombian artist attended the School of Fine Arts of Jorge Tadeo Lozano University.

In 1999 he left his country as result of one of the most shocking moments of his life. This change brought to his soul a new way of enjoying life. His artwork is his way of showing all this new world the plentiful colors and hopes that he feels in his soul.

For many years he has delighted worldwide agencies, interior designs companies and TV Channels as a Producer, Illustrator, Design Teacher, Videographer, Decorator and Creative Director. As he used to tell to his students, designing and creating ideas  with commercial messages is a style he coins  "Prostitute Art”. Also he was working as designer and art buyer for decorations on Pablik Design Team (

EdgarSan "Smiles Collection" hopes to mark a pivotal moment for humanity, as it has for him. New air, new sun, new life, and new inspirations in a country where everything is possible. Each space deserves having more smiles. ¡To race ones spirits is the goal!

The “Smiles” Collection wants to evoke in the public a deep feeling of peace and joy, highlighting the fresh spirituality of color and spontaneously drawn lines. Based on a profound study of Figurative Art, represented by icons such as Matisse, Kandinsky, Miró, and even Picasso, and contemporary ones such as Brito and Diana Hogg that, for him, offer a positive message of color and enthusiasm that soften the noisy and contaminated environment of our societies.

His art is inspired by children lines and people that, although not artistically trained, express the purity of their heart by doodling. He discovered in them an endless source of ideas and beautiful moments that deserve to be a timeless masterpiece, to put a smile on the face of those who admire it. This is why, when an EdgarSan graces a room, it overflows in energy and enthusiasm, uplifting the spirit of those around
